Salemtown Neighbors Neighborhood Association Meeting Minutes
November 20, 2017
Meeting was called to order at 610pm by Lindsey Cox (SNNA president). A list of the members and guests in attendance will be maintained on record.
  1. Community Reports
    1. Sgt. Mitch Kornberg- Community Liaison Officer Metro Nashville PD
Crime has been down slightly in the North Precinct, but up for the year in Nashville. North has been working to minimize violent crime by using flex teams to focus on seven areas that tend to be high in violent crime, including, Osage Street, Buchanan, Bordeaux Hills, Haynes Manor and Trinty/Brickchurch. Arrests and gun seizures are up in these areas.
Keep in mind over the holidays to not leave signs of high dollar gifts out in plain view both in your car or in and around your home.
Sgt. Kornberg will be retiring in January. He will be replaced by Sgt. Gary Smith.

Martisa is a graduate of the Emerge TN program that trains women to run for office. She has worked for the Public Defenders office for her entire career. The election will be held on May 1, 2018.
