Fehr School

The Fehr School, 1624 5th Ave. N,  Salemtown: A landmark in Nashville civil rights history

Salemtown was once home to working class folks who moved to Nashville to work at the Werthan Mills bag factory and, the Newhoff Meat Packing Plant, and to the Methodist Settlement House workers who moved here to support those workers.
